COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State Stacey Gordon (So., Oshawa, Ontario) was named to the NCAA Pacific Regional All-Tournament Team for her play in OSU’s 0-3 (24-30, 25-30, 27-30) loss to Stanford in the NCAA Pacific Regional Semifinal against Stanford last week. Gordon scored a match-high 19 kills against the Cardinal and added nine digs and three ace serves. The loss ended Ohio State’s season at 21-11.

Gordon’s 19-kill performance included 10 kills in game three for her sixth game this season with 10 or more kills. She has a current streak of 48 matches with double-figure kills and is ranked third in the country in kills per game at 5.98.

The Buckeyes played the match without four-year starting setter Katie Virtue (Sr., St. Charles, Ill.) due to a knee injury in practice the day before the match.

Members of the Pacific Regional All-Tournament team are: Logan Tom, MVP (Stanford), Ogonna Nnamani (Stanford), Sara McGee (Stanford), Kim Glass (Arizona), Lisa Rutledge (Arizona) and Stacey Gordon (Ohio State).
