%^$ COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s gymnastics team has been honored for its academic efforts, as six Buckeyes earned 1999-00 Academic All-Big Ten laurels. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must be a letterwinner in at least their second academic year and carry a career grade-point average of 3.0 or better.%^$

%^$ Senior Jill McMillon (Tipp City, Ohio) earned the distinction for the third-consecutive season, while Lacey Hudson (So., Peachtree City, Ga.) won the award for the second time in the last three seasons.%^$

%^$ Four Buckeye sophomores earned the award for the first time – Jill Tucker (So., Tallmadge, Ohio), Stephanie Buerkel (So., West Chester, Pa.), Amanda Allen (So., Troy, Mich.) and Mary Beth Doerr (So., Akron, Ohio).%^$

%^$ Thirty Ohio State student-athletes won Academic-All Big Ten honors during the winter season.
