COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two Ohio State men’s lacrosse games will appear on BTN this spring, the network announced today.With the addition of those broadcasts, the Buckeyes are slated to appear on national television seven times during the 2018 regular season, the most in school history and as many as any team in the country.
BTN will carry Ohio State’s Final Four rematch with Towson in Columbus on March 10 (4 p.m.) as well as the regular season finale against Rutgers on April 28 (4 p.m.). ESPN previously announced its coverage plans and the Buckeyes are slotted for four appearances on ESPNU: vs. Notre Dame (March 25, noon), vs. Penn State (March 31, 3 p.m.), at Johns Hopkins (April 7, noon) and at Maryland (April 22, 2 p.m.).
Additionally, next Sunday’s game at Jacksonville (1 p.m.) has been picked up by the CBS Sports Network. It will appear on tape delay Sunday evening.
BTN will also broadcast the Big Ten Tournament semifinals and championship game, which will take place this year May 3-5 in Ann Arbor, Mich. As in year’s past, the NCAA Tournament will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.
Last year, Ohio State appeared on national television a total of 11 times — including all six postseason games (including two in the Big Ten Tournament).
