The Buckeyes moved to 10-0 with a 38-17 victory over Wisconsin Saturday in Ohio Stadium. There were loads of highlights for Ohio State, including three touchdown runs by Chris “Beanie” Wells. There also were plenty of memorable moments during breaks in the action.
At halftime, Bill Willis, a former All-American and member of the 1942 Ohio State National Championship team, had his No. 99 jersey retired and unveiled on the faade of C Deck in the north end of Ohio Stadium. Willis is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
At the end of the first quarter, Jim Stone, women’s volleyball head coach, was recognized for his 26 years of service. Stone will retire at the end of the season. He owns more than 500 career wins and helped the Buckeyes claim three Big Ten titles.
