COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Rifle team’s Ryan Kohatsu (Sr., Hilo, Hawaii) took top honors at the 2005 Roger Withrow Invitational last weekend (Jan. 28-30) shooting an 1,173 aggregate score as Ohio State finished ninth in the competition of 11 teams. Kohatus took top honors in smallbore with a score of 591 and finished 10th in air rifle with 582. Beth Tidmore of Memphis won the air rifle competition with a 593. Ohio State posted a 2,219 in smallbore for ninth place and a 2,225 in air rifle for 10th. Kentucky-Blue won the invitational with a 4,618 aggregate score. They took first in smallbore with a 2,309 and was fourth in air rifle with a 2,309. Memphis won in air rifle with a 2,333.

Ohio State will next compete at Xavier, Friday, Feb. 5.
