COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Rifle team fell to Army, 6,218 to 5,925 in a meet held at Palmyra, Pa. OSU’s Ryan Kohatsu (Sr., Hilo, Hawaii) was the top shooter for the Buckeyes finishing second with a 1,554 aggregate. He had a 1,161 in smallbore and a 393 in air rifle. Army’s Chris Abalo was the top overall shooter with a 1,562 aggregate. He recorded a 1,174 in smallbore and a 388 in air rifle. Ohio State faces West Virginia Sunday in Morgantown.
