COLUMBUS, Ohio – Behind a team-high aggregate score of 1,554 from Abhijeet Konduskar (Sr., Kolhapur, Maharashira, India), Ohio State won the five-team Virginia Military Institute Invitational Saturday in Lexington, VA. The Buckeyes shot a team aggregate 6,056 in the meet with match-high marks of 4,540 in smallbore rifle and 1,516 in air rifle. Finishing second in the meet was Duquesne University at 5,973 (4,497-1,476).

OSU’s John Stellwag (Jr., Mount Laurel, N.J.) ranked second among the Ohio State shooters with a 1,513 aggregate score. He shot 1,138 in smallbore and 375 in air rifle.

The Buckeyes will compete next at the Boilermaker Open at Purdue University Oct. 19.
