Fans of Ohio State football and the great Buckeye tradition will get another opportunity this fall to relive some of the team’s greatest memories, through the eyes of the players and coaches who made the tradition what it is. Buckeye Classics, the Emmy-award winning television story of the Buckeyes, is back on the air, broadcast each weekend in nine Ohio television market, and cablecast throughout Ohio and surrounding state on Fox Sports Net Ohio (Sundays at 12:30 p.m.)

Two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin returns as host, while Bert Charles, who did play-by-play during the team’s glory days from the 1950’s to the 1980’s, takes over as narrator, replacing the legendary, Jack Buck.

In fact, this week’s program takes a close and personal look as the one and only Archie Griffin. The episode includes revealing interviews with former Buckeye teammates like Pete Johnson, John Hicks, Steve Luke and Brian Baschnagel, pro teammates Anthony Munoz, teammate and brother Ray Griffin, media personalities Jimmy Crum, Kaye Kessle and Jack Park, and even a few words of love from Archie’s mom. To top it all off, fellow Buckeye legend, Chris Spielman will serve as guest host for this special program.
