BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Rain has forced the cancellation of Sunday’s game four between Ohio State and Indiana that was scheduled at Sembower Field.

Rain entered the area early Sunday morning and has continued into the afternoon forcing the cancellation of today’s final game. Ohio State, now 23-10-1 overall and 11-4 in the Big Ten, won two of the three games that were played this weekend to earn the series win. The Buckeyes defeated Indiana 14-11 on Friday, while the Hoosiers overcame a late rally by Ohio State in the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader to win 5-4. The Buckeyes fought back to win the nightcap by a 3-2 final.

In the three games against Indiana leftfielder Mike Rabin (Fr., West Chester, Ohio/Lakota East) batted .667 (6-for-9) with a double and four runs batted in including the run that tied the game in game two of Saturday’s doubleheader. Catcher Joe Wilkins (Sr., Grove City, Ohio/Dublin Scioto) batted .500 (6-for-12) in the three games at Indiana with a double, home run and five RBI. He also scored four times.

The Buckeyes return to the field Wednesday against Wooster at 6:35 p.m. at Bill Davis Stadium and then play host to Purdue next weekend in Big Ten action.
