Johnnie Dixon

On Oklahoma
“I think they’re a good defense. We still remember that day like yesterday. A game like Noah (Brown) had, you have to make the adjustments and I think they did.”

On Coach Kevin Wilson
“He has the juice. He brings (it). Lots of energy. The tempo is faster. The plays come in a lot quicker. The crossing routes are confusing and hard to cover.”

Jerome Baker

On Oklahoma rematch
“One thing I learned about Baker Mayfield is that he’s a competitor. That’s what I loved about last year… Every play you could tell he was competing, no matter the score. That’s why I have so much respect for him. That’s why I’m so excited to play against him.”

On covering Mark Andrews
“It’s just a test to see how good you are to go up against guys playing at an elite level.”

Kevin Wilson, Offensive Coordinator/Tight Ends Coach

On running back rotation
“Are they two backs or can you move them around a bit? Right now we are trying to get (Mike) Weber back to speed. We used two (running backs) last week. You need two. I think you need three.”

On Indiana game
“Early we sputtered. It was nice to finish strong. It was a very good second half. It’s rhythm of the game and execution (that dictates tempo).”

On the Oklahoma secondary
“We have to be ready for a lot. It’s almost like an opening game. You watch last year’s games. We have a plan but you have to be ready to adjust and adapt.”

Denzel Ward

Denzel Ward on being tested against pass-heavy offenses
“You have to expect it going in. We’re new corners, they’re going to target us.”

Denzel Ward on Ohio State’s defensive line
“They’re a big impact. Getting (to the quarterback) as quickly as they do gives us time to get in position and make a play on the ball.”

Jamarco Jones

On Oklahoma defense
“They have a lot of the same guys in there (from last season), they just fly around the ball more. Throughout the season last year they improved so much. They’re a really good unit and we saw that in Week 1 vs. UTEP.”

On Mike Weber returning
“J.K. came in and performed really well last week, but Mike is 1,000-yard rusher. Having both of them will be nice. Him and J.K. will be a great one-two punch.”

Nick Bosa

On Oklahoma offensive line
“We’re excited because they’re hyped up as the No. 1 o-line. When you’re facing an o-line with a potential first-round left tackle, this is where you show what you’ve got. If you can beat them you can beat anybody.”

“This is definitely the best o-line we’ve ever faced. Coach (Johnson) is the best defensive line coach in the country. He’s losing his mind, he wants us to get this one. We’re ready and we want to do it for him.”

Damon Webb

On Oklahoma defense
“They have a lot of the same guys in there (from last season), they just fly around the ball more. Throughout the season last year they improved so much. They’re a really good unit and we saw that in Week 1 vs. UTEP.”

On Mike Weber returning
“J.K. came in and performed really well last week, but Mike is 1,000-yard rusher. Having both of them will be nice. Him and JK will be a great one-two punch.”
