Jones returns from her Big Ten Freshman season
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Taylor Jones returns in 2010 after leading Ohio State in the all-around, as well as on vault and floor as a true freshman. She became just the second Buckeye to earn Big Ten Freshman of the Year honor in 2009 and was named first-team All-Big Ten, making an immediate impact for the Scarlet and Gray.
“Taylor begins her sophomore season as the reigning Big Ten Freshman of the Year,” Carey Fagan, Ohio State head coach, said. “She has worked hard during the off season to upgrade a few of her routines and is on track for a super sophomore season. Taylor also is developing into one of the leaders on the team and as one of the team’s most consistent scorers last season, she will be looked to on every event this year.”
