On the serious side …
Athletically, what are your personal and team goals this season?
“My personal goal for this season is to be back on all four events at 100 percent and come back as strong, if not stronger than, as I was before my injury. As for the team goals for this season – win the Big Ten title and make it to nationals.”
How do you balance the pressure of athletics and academics?
“I have to make sure I am very organized and have a specific schedule that I have to follow. By being organized and making a schedule for myself allows me to accomplish everything I need to accomplish each day.”
Who has made the greatest influence on you as a student-athlete?
“I would say my teammates and coaches. They have been there for me no matter what and help me through any hard times that I am facing. I know I can turn to them if I ever need anything.”
