COLUMBUS, Ohio – After the first day of competition in the Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Purdue University, the Boilermakers lead the way for the women, while Michigan State holds the edge on the men’s front. Alexis Schulist (Jr., Muskegon, Mich.) had a third-place performance in the women’s 10,000 meters, giving the Buckeyes their lone top three performance on the day. Competition resumes on Sat., with some of the strongest Ohio State competitors still to take the blocks.
