Recap| Box Score| Notes

Ohio State head coach Jim O’Brien
On three points vs. controlling the game:
“First we had a difficult time trying to guarding (Raymond) Arrington, so we tried to limit his touches. We eliminated their penetration. To their credit, we made a bunch of shots, if they didn’t make the three’s it would have been lopsided, but they did. Sometime you have to give the other guys credit and Radford played really hard tonight.”

On how OSU played:
“We didn’t have any patience. Our problem was not with our offense, it was with our defense. We allowed them to score way to many points in first half.”

On Sean Connolly:
“He is playing with a lot of confidence. He has got to look for his open shots. He has to shoot when he is open and he has the green light on good shots.”

On Velimir Radinovic:
“If he could play like this every night we would be trilled. He has played two good games in a row and we hope that he continues in the direction he is going.”

On the up coming games:
“We have to max out all of our games. We have to win at home. The next three game stretch is really big for us. After that, we start the conference and it is going to be hard for us. If you would look at our team and the teams we have lost to, we could have easily slipped up in one of the other games. We are going by the seat of our pants. We have different guys available every night and we are simply getting by.”

Junior center Velimir Radinovic
On the game:
“We needed to establish a presence in the post and that took pressure off our outside game. The guys got a little tired and we came out a little sluggish but we picked it up in the second half. It was a good win for us.”

Junior guard Emonte Jernigan
On the game:
“We came out flat in the beginning but played hard in the second half. (Raymond Arrington) got hot in the first half, but we had a chaser on him in the second half and were able to control him.”

Senior guard Sean Connolly
On Radford:
“Everything they threw up was going in. I’m glad we just scored enough points to win.”

On his game:
“I have been feeling really good the last week or so and felt the same way tonight. Hopefully, I can keep it going. It’s definitely the most comfortable I have felt since I have been here. I have had great guys in front of me, but now it’s my turn.”

Radford head coach Byron Samuels
“I am proud of the way our team competed tonight. A lot of positives came out of the game. We were able to execute but could not make the shots.”

“We were very confident coming into this game. We didn’t think Ohio State had the quickness over us.”

On Ohio State’s defense:
“We didn’t expect it coming up here to Ohio State and it slowed us down especially at the beginning of the second half.”

On Radford’s defense:
“We weren’t going to change our style of play. I tell my players that we need to be more concerned with what we do than what our opponent does.”

On Ohio State forward Zach Williams:
“I give Williams credit for his coverage on the inside. He knew where we were vulnerable and he attacked.”
