%^$Ohio State head coach Beth Burns
%^$Opening Comments
%^$”It’s safe to say I’m a winner tonight. I’m lucky to be with this group of players that I have. These guys played with all the heart and guts imaginable.%^$

%^$”Illinois is an athletic and aggressive team. They made it happen. They really got after us, forced errors and made it difficult to run our sets.%^$

%^$” I couldn’t have asked for more from our team and we got what we wanted from beginning, middle to end. I can’t ask for more than that.”%^$

%^$On Fatigue
%^$”We’re not concerned about fatigue. The big concern is fouls. All of our players are fit enough to play 40 minutes of basketball. It’s hard to execute with six.”%^$

%^$Illinois head coach Teresa Grentz
%^$Opening Comments
%^$”It feels like I’m in the Twilight Zone. This is a terrific win for Illinois and for our young players. OSU played brilliantly. We need to give them credit. They came out, got the lead and played hard.”%^$

%^$On Ohio State’s limited roster
%^$ “When we go into a game, we have an idea about the tendencies and the personalities. I don’t care for these kinds of games. There’s so much emotion, you don’t know what the other team is going to do. Someone could come off the bench and have a wonderful game and win it.”
