COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Pistol team took top honors at the Buckeye Cup this past weekend. The event hosted by the Buckeyes was held at the Lt. Hugh W. Wylie Range. OSU’s Jennifer Trickett (Sr., Woburn, Mass.) took top honors as the three-gun aggregate champion and won both women’s events. She shot a 1,592 aggregate and took top honors in women’s air (366) and sport pistol (567). Her two-gun aggregate of 933 in the women’s events also won that event. Ohio State’s Anthony Douglass (Jr., Marietta, Ohio) won the standard pistol event with a 546 score with Buckeye Teresa Meyer (Fr., Dearborn, Mich.) winning free pistol with a 506 mark. Ohio State will next host the Buckeye Invitational, Oct. 15-16.
