COLUMBUS, Ohio – In competition last weekend at the United States Military Academy, the Ohio State pistol squad, with a team score of 6,136, lost to Army (6,343) and the Citadel (6,206). In the open events, OSU’s best performance was a second place finish in standard pistol, losing by two points to Army. In that event, Jessica Marshall (Sr., Columbus, Ohio) captured first place with a 545 mark. Marshall finished second in air pistol with a 550 score, falling to Army’s Matt Neyland with a 551. She took fourth in free pistol with a 492. OSU finished first in women’s air pistol with Marshall placing first at 364 and Jennifer Trickett (So., Woburn, Mass.), second at 359.
