COLUMBUS, Ohio The OhioState pistol team lost to the U.S. Naval Academy, 6,270 to 6,220 in a meet held this weekend at the Lt. Hugh W. Wylie Range in the ROTCBuilding. OhioState won the open free event, 1,992 to 1,956 while Navy won open standard, 2,219 to 2,048 and open air, 2,185 to 2,180. Buckeye Seth Berglee took first in all three open events scoring 572 in air, 550 in standard and 526 in free pistol.

 

The women’s team defeated Navy, 2,669 to 2,657. OSU won women’s sport pistol, 1,617 to 1,577 while Navy won the air event, 1,080 to 1,052. OSU’s Kelsey Imig finished first in air pistol with a 365. Navy’s Ashley Asdal was first in sport pistol with a 550.

 

OhioState will now travel to face The Citadel, Jan. 23-25.
