The Ohio State men’s swimming and diving team (8-1) split its weekend in State College, Pa. with a win over Iowa (238-108) and a loss to host Penn State (220-130). With the loss to Penn State, the Buckeyes saw their seven meet win streak halted. Jason Fox (Jr., Goshen, Ind.) continued to improve his season times, recording personal bests in both the 200 individual medley and 200 breaststroke. Mike Reilly (Jr., Virginia Beach, Va.) won the 1650 freestyle, while Cameron Mull (Sr., Lansing, Mich.) was a winner in the 200 butterfly. Diver Ryan Fillmann (So., Muncie, Ind.) recorded a win in the 3 meter dive, while Brian Malich (So, Mason, Ohio) gave the Buckeyes a win in the 100 freestyle.

The Buckeyes are at home on Feb. 5-6 for their last home meets of the season. On Fri., the team hosts Syracuse at 6 p.m. and Sat. hosts Pittsburgh at 1 p.m. The meet against Pittsburgh will honor the Ohio State senior class of David Kuck (Delaware, Ohio), Chris Mills (Manchester, England), Cameron Mull (Lansing, Mich.) and Kevin Taylor (Warren, Ohio).
