COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State (3-1, 0-0) women’s basketball player Courtney Coleman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Hughes) was named to the Coors Classic all-tournament team. Coleman was solid offensively for Jim Foster’s Buckeyes by scoring 17 and 18 points against Villanova (Nov. 29) and Hartford (Nov. 30), respectively. The two-time second team all-Big Ten selection shot 16-18 from the field, was 3-for-4 from the free-throw line and collected 10 rebounds over the two nights.

Joining Coleman on the all-tourney squad was Colorado’s Tera Bjorklund and Kate Fagan and Villanova’s Courtney Mix and Trish Juhline, the 2002 Coors Classic Most Outstanding Player.

Ohio State came back to win the consolation game last night by beating Hartford (0-4, 0-0), 77-49, after falling to eventual tournament champion Villanova (4-0, 0-0), 58-51, Friday night at the Coors Event Center in Boulder, Colo.

OSU travels to Wisconsin-Green Bay to take on the Phoenix at 4 p.m. EST, Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Phoenix Sports Center.
