Ohio State is in third place at the Big Ten Championship today after round three. The Buckeyes scored 289-287-284=860 to maintain the third place position after the second day of the three-day tournament hosted by the University of Illinois. The tournament is being held at the Stone Creek Golf Club (par 72).

Mike Austin (Sr., Burton, Mich./Flint Powers Catholic) came back from a 27th place finish yesterday after round one to finish round three in second place individually today. Austin fired a three-under par score of 69 in round two and a six-under par 66 in round three for a three-round total of 209, just one stroke behind tournament leader, Luke Donald who scored a 208.

Jason Oien (Jr., New Albany/Westerville North) is in 11th place, scoring 73-71-72=216 and Justin Collins (So., Ironton, Ohio/Ironton) is in 21st place, shooting 69-73-76=218. Ryan Dennis (Jr., Stow, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) shot a three-round total of 219 for the Buckeyes and Kevin Hall (Fr., Cincinnati, Ohio/St.Rita) is in 37th place, shooting 223.

The Big Ten Championship will conclude tomorrow with round four beginning at 1:30 p.m.
