COLUMBUS, Ohio – Members of the Ohio State men’s track distance team competed Friday at the 2006 Nike Stanford Invitational at Cobb Angel Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Brian Olinger, a senior two-time All-American, bested the OSU record in the 10,000-meter run, winning Section 2 of the event in 28:57.68.

The school record holder in the indoor 5,000m, Olinger topped the 10K mark of 29:01.29 set by Chris England in the 1997 season. Ealy timed 29:52.17, while Martinez turned in a 30:40.36.
