COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s golfer Dana Je (Jr., Orlando, Fla./Montverde Academy) was named Co-Big Ten Golfer of the Week for the first time in her career. She earned the nomination following her performance at the Peg Barnard Collegiate April 8-9 in Stanford, Calif. Amber Weinerth of Penn State shared the honors with Je.

Je opened the 36-hole tournament at the par-72 Stanford Golf Course with a one-under-par. The score tied her lowest score of the season, also recorded on March 8 at the Cal Invite. She returned for Round Two at the Peg Barnard, notching 75 over the final 18.

Je’s two-day scorecard totaled 146 and tied her for fifth place, her highest finish in a tournament this season. Her opening round 71 also was the lowest round recorded by a Buckeye at the tournament. Her finish helped the team to a fourth-place finish.
