COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s tennis sophomore Julie Voss (San Angelo, Texas/St. Stephen’s Academy) finished first overall in the singles competition in the Southwest Region of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Collegiate Summer Circuit.

The complete circuit was played at 23 regional sites throughout the country during the month of July. Players accumulated points based on their performance and advancement in a given tournament. Voss competed in three individual tournaments in her home state of Texas. Voss finished second in Abilene, Texas, placed first in Arlington and completed the circuit in College Station with a second-place finish.

For the Buckeyes in the 2005-06 campaign, Voss tallied eight overall individual wins to go with three individual doubles victories. Voss also placed third in C Flight singles at the Kentucky Fall Invitational.
