CAMP DESCRIPTION

The Ohio State University Women’s Soccer Program will host Elite College ID Clinics open to any and all girls currently in grades 7 – 12. These clinics are for the serious soccer player who is looking to sharpen her game and connect with the demands of a championship collegiate program. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from the Buckeyes who have made the NCAA Tournament 8 times in the past 10 years, in 2011 reached their second consecutive NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance, were 2010 NCAA College Cup semi-finalists, 2012 Big Ten Tournament Champions, and 2010 and 2017 Big Ten Champions.

These clinics will utilize Ohio State’s first class facilities. Instruction will be guided by the Ohio State soccer staff who are some of the best in the business and will be complemented by current and former Buckeye players and Ohio State strength and conditioning staff. Our clinics will address the technical and tactical areas of soccer as well as speed and agility training. These are the essential building blocks to give the motivated young athlete tools to be successful at the next level. A separate goalkeeping curriculum will be available to address the needs of young netminders.

SAMPLE CAMP SCHEDULE:

  • Speed and Agility Training
  • Possession Games
  • Pattern Play and Goalkeeper Training
  • Finishing School
  • 7v7 Round Robin Tournament

FACILITIES
The Elite College ID Clinics will be held at the practice field on Fred Taylor Drive. This is the home of the Ohio State Women’s Soccer team for their training. Please bring appropriate footwear for the grass and field turf surface.
