COLUMBUS, Ohio– Ohio State women’s golfer’s Haley Brown (Jr., Austin, Texas/Portland State) and Jessica Hauser (So., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) competed as individuals over the weekend in Destin, Fla., at the Chrysler Challenge. Brown and Hauser concluded the tournament Monday at the par-72 Baytowne Golf Course at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, both placing in the Top 20.

Brown led the way for the two Buckeyes shooting a 76 over the final 18 holes. Combined with her score of 157 from the previous two rounds, Brown finished the tournament with a total score of 233, placing 12th. Hauser rounded out the Top 20 placing 19th with a total score of 236 (78-78-80).

Hanging onto the individual title was Caroline Westrup of Florida State. Westrup added her third-round score of 68 to her previous two-day total of 147 for a final score of 215.

The Ohio State University women’s golf team will be back in action March 5-6 in Orlando, Fla., with competition at the UCF Challenge.
