COLUMBUS, Ohio – The tenth-ranked Ohio State women’s golf team posted an opening round score of 285 (+1) for first place following the first round of action Monday at the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Ariz. The event is being held at the par 71 Arizona National Golf Club (6,238 yards) and hosted by the University of Arizona.

Individually, Ohio State junior Allison Hanna (Portland, Ore./David Douglas) fired a round of four-under 68 and is tied for first place. Juniors Lindsay Knowlton (Toronto, Ont./Havergal College) and Kristen White (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) are tied for ninth place with rounds of 72. Freshman Dana Je (Orlando, Fla./Montverde Academy) is tied for 12th with a score of 73 and sophomore Allison Harvie (Grass Valley, Calif./Bear River) is tied for 35th with a mark of 78. Senior Emily Kuhfeld (Carmel, Ind./Cathedral) also posted a round of 78 and is tied for 35th place while competing as an individual.

The second round continues at 10 a.m. (8 a.m. MST) Tuesday while the final round is scheduled with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
