COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 10th-ranked Ohio State women’s golf team shot a second-round score of 299 and fell two spots to third place following the second round Tuesday at the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Ariz. The Buckeyes posted a score of 584 after two rounds of competition and currently are five strokes behind first-place Vanderbilt (579) and two stokes behind UCLA (582). The event is being held at the par 71 Arizona National Golf Club (6,238 yards) and hosted by the University of Arizona.

Senior Allison Hanna (Portland, Ore./David Douglas) remains in a tie for first place individually after shooting a round of 72. She is tied with Vanderbilt’s May Wood and Sophia Sheridan of California with a two-round total of 140.

In addition to Hanna, three other Buckeyes are in the Top 20 on the individual leaderboard. Kristen White (Jr., Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) posted a 74 in the second round and is tied for sixth with a total of 146. Dana Je (Fr., Orlando, Fla./Montverde Academy) is tied for 13th place with a mark of 149 and Lindsay Knowlton (Jr., Toronto, Ont./Havergal College) is tied for 19th with a score of 151.

The final round is scheduled with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
