COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced Thursday the time and date for Ohio State’s final home game of the 2004-05 season against Illinois.

The Buckeyes will face the No. 1-ranked Illini at 2 p.m. March 6 in a nationally-televised contest on CBS.

A limited number of tickets remain for the Illinois game. Ohio State officials anticipate the game will be a sellout. Fans should call 1-800-GO-BUCKS or visit www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com to secure tickets for remaining Ohio State home games vs. Indiana (Feb. 15), Wisconsin (Feb. 27) and Illinois.

The game against Indiana is a nationally-televised game (7 p.m./ESPN). Ohio State will retire the No. 5 jersey of former Buckeye great John Havlicek during a half-time ceremony of the Wisconsin game (2 pm., Feb. 27).
