COLUMBUS, Ohio — Fans of the Ohio State men’s lacrosse program will have unprecedented access to the Buckeyes’ journey in 2018 as they partner with STX and Inside Lacrosse for the launch of “The Season,” which will be a year-long video and digital content series. The project with spotlight four Division I programs: Ohio State, Duke, North Carolina and Syracuse.
“The Season” will revolve around 10 episodes shared between the fall season in September to the conclusion of the postseason in May. The series will be supported by live social media content shot on-site, as well as interactive social programs that will expose fans to their favorite programs in completely new ways. All of it will be integrated on an innovative new dot-com platform at www.theseason2018.com, and fans can register to receive updates as “The Season” gets underway.
Enlisting the services of film-maker Jason Johnson and Mission Media, Inside Lacrosse and STX will visit Ohio State several times throughout the fall and spring and cover signature events like October’s Michael R. Breschi Scholarship Game in Baltimore. “The Season” will also document the on-field and off-field lives of the Buckeyes’ coaches and student-athletes over their nine-month journey toward hoisting the hardware on Memorial Day Weekend.
