COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State synchronized swimming team (8-1) swept all four events to finish first at the OSU College Association Meet held Saturday in the varsity pool at Larkins Hall. The Buckeyes tallied 105 points, followed by William and Mary (80), Walsh (71), Miami (64) and Michigan (57.5).

Ohio State senior Victoria Bowen (Plano, Texas) placed first in solo with a mark of 94.334. Suzanna Hyatt (Sr./Indianapolis, Ind.) and Chelsea Luker (Fr./Montreal, Quebec) swam to a first-place score of 94.167 in the duet event while Bowen, Hyatt and teammate Lindsay Newbill (So./Laguana Hills, Calif) earned a score of 94.000 to claim a victory in the trio event.

Buckeyes Bowen, Hyatt, Luker, Newbill, Heather Burdick (So./Walnut Creek, Calif), Carly Grimshaw (Fr./Markham, Ontario), Lauren Marsh (So./Spring Valley, Calif.) and Emiko Takyu (So./San Jose, Calif.) earned the victory for Ohio State in the team event with a score of 96.833.

The Buckeyes return to action this weekend with two away meets. The Buckeyes will travel to Richmond Saturday, Feb. 15, before heading to Williamsburg to battle William and Mary Sunday, Feb. 16. The squad will return home March 1 for the final home competition of the season when Ohio State plays host to the North Regional Championships.
