COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State synchronized swimming team swept all four events to defeat Richmond in a dual meet Saturday in Richmond, Va. The Buckeyes finished with 90 points while the Spiders recorded 51 points.

Freshman Leslie Edgerton (Cincinnati, Ohio) captured first place honors in the solo event with a mark of 87.500. Teammates Stephanie Raftery (Fr./Cincinnati, Ohio) and Megan Mikulecky (Fr./Carmichael, Calif.) placed first in the duet, recording a score of 83.667. Edgerton, Lauren Byrom (Fr./Westerville, Ohio) and Katie Meyer (Sr./Cincinnati, Ohio) won the trio with a score of 87.000.

Buckeyes Jessica Beck (Fr./Richmond, Va.), Byrom, Stacey Coffman (So./Walnut Creek, Calif.), Edgerton, Sharon Mejia (Sr./Vallejo, Calif.), Meyer, Raftery and Isla Turner (So./Key Largo, Fla.) finished first in the team event with a mark of 92.334.

The Buckeyes (9-1) return action at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Wheaton College Invitational in Norton, Mass.
