COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference recognized 354 student-athletes, including 30 Buckeyes, who were named to the winter academic all-Big Ten team. To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must be a letterwinner in at least their second academic year and carry a career grade point average of 3.0 or better.

For Ohio State, the women’s swimming and diving team led the way with nine honorees. Other winter sports with academic team members include men’s swimming and diving (six), men’s and women’s gymnastics (nine), women’s basketball (five) and wrestling (one).
