COLUMBUS, Ohio – Snow in Ann Arbor, Mich., Sunday has forced the cancellation of the Ohio State softball team’s double-header at No. 1-ranked Michigan. The games will not be rescheduled.

The combination of rain plus cold and windy conditions cancelled Ohio State’s two-game series at 15th-ranked Northwestern Friday and Saturday before a slow-moving snow storm moved into the Ann Arbor area late Saturday to rule out the possibility of play between the Buckeyes (22-14, 4-6 Big Ten) and Wolverines (46-4, 11-2 Big Ten) Sunday. The games Sunday would have been televised by ESPNU.

Ohio State returns to Columbus for seven home games this week beginning with non-conference games against Western Michigan at 6 p.m. Tuesday and a double-header against Bowling Green at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Getting back to Big Ten play, Indiana will visit Buckeye Field for single games at 6 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday, while Purdue will be in town for a double-header Sunday beginning at noon.
