Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field program will make their way to Tucson, AZ to compete in the Jim Click Shootout this Friday and Saturday hosted by Arizona University at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. The Jim Click Shootout is set to begin at 12 p.m. E.T. on Saturday, April 7th with the combined events taking place on Thursday, April 6-7 start time for those events will be 1 p.m. E.T.. There will be six schools, including Ohio State, which will be competing at this weekend’s Jim click Shootout. Those teams include Arizona, Kansas State, Illinois, Auburn and Cincinnati.

A Look Back
Last Friday the Buckeyes took on the distance portion of the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State. The Buckeyes were able to walk away with a few nice showings. Kevin Blank clocked a time of 3:47.43 in the men’s 1500m run. With over 120 athletes in his pool of competition, Blank was able to snag ninth.
Christine Frederick participated in the women’s 10k run, where she crossed the finish line with a time of 34:24.74. This time registers as the second fastest 10k time in Ohio State program history.
Sophomore Abby Nichols was also able to show off her talent while being able to clutch 26th in the women’s 5k run. Nichols’ competition was made up of more than 140 runners. Nichols hailed in with a personal best time of 16:31 in her track debut. Buckeye distance runner Luke Landis competed in the men’s 5k and placed 61st. Landis also competed against more than 140 athletes.
