COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Network will air two Ohio State field hockey games in its recent fall schedule release. Buckeye supporters will be able to see the team on the road by watching Ohio State’s away games at Indiana and Iowa on tape delay on the conference network.
The Buckeye-Hoosier matchup played at 1 p.m. Oct 2 will air at 1 p.m. Oct. 3, while the team’s game vs. the Hawkeyes at 2 p.m. Oct. 30 will be shown later that evening at 6 p.m.
The Big Ten Network will also air the league tournament’s semifinals matches Nov. 5, as well as the championship game Nov. 7 in Evanston, Ill.
Last season, the 13-7 Buckeyes finished tied for second in the Big Ten with a 4-2 ledger, earning an at-large bid to the 2009 NCAA Tournament for the program’s fifth trip to the tourney.
Welcoming back eight starters and adding nine freshmen, head coach Anne Wilkinson and the 2010 Buckeyes look to have another strong performance in Big Ten play this season. They open the campaign at Ohio at 3 p.m. Aug. 31 and will play home games at the new North Turf Field.
