Ohio State No. 24 in NFHCA Preseason Poll

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The preseason Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll was released today and the Buckeyes will open the 2018 season at No. 24.

The recognition marks the first time since 2012 that Ohio State has been ranked in the preseason poll. The last time that the Buckeyes were ranked on the poll during the regular season was Oct. 17, 2017 with the team receiving 153 points to earn a No. 24 ranking.

10 of Ohio State’s opponents this season are ranked in the Top-25 of the preseason poll. Four opponents are ranked in the top-10, including Delaware and Louisville, who the Buckeyes are set to play this weekend to open the 2018 season.
