COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s lacrosse team has been ranked 22nd and Buckeyes Anthony Kelly (Jr., North Olmsted, Ohio/ St. Ignatius) and Greg Bice (So., Helotes, Texas/ St. Mary’s Hall) were named honorable mention preseason All-Americans by Face-Off Yearbook, Inside Lacrosse Magazine announced.

Kelly was named to the team as a face-off specialist. Last season, he led the Buckeyes in face-offs, going 134-92. He played in all 14 games, scoring five goals and recording 70 groundballs. Defenseman Bice saw action in all 14 games, posting two assists and 31 groundballs.

The Buckeyes open their regular season Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002 when they travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., to face the No. 13 North Carolina TarHeels.
