COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team is tied for fourth place with Tulsa heading into the final round at the Matlock Classic. The Buckeyes shot a two-round total of 6-over-par, 582. The event is being held at the par-72, 7,065-yard Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland, Fla.

Scott Anderson (So., Great Falls, Mont./Great Falls) leads the Buckeyes posting a score of 4-under-par, 140, good enough for third place. Anderson’s second-round score of 69 is the lowest score of his collegiate career.

Zach Doran (Jr., Dublin, Ohio/Columbus Academy) and Darren Lundgren (So., Baldwin, Mo./Parkway West) also turned in strong performances for the Buckeyes posting rounds of 3-over-par, 147, tying them for 24th.

Geoffrey Harris of Old Dominion leads all individuals with a two-round total of 6-under-par, 138. Rollins College leads all teams with a score of 2-over-par, 578.

Final round competition will begin tomorrow.
