COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team concluded play at the 2005 Suntrust Gator Invitational Sunday and finished 12th with a three-round total of 900. The Buckeyes finished the event with a final round score of 296. The University of Florida played host to the 54-hole event at the par 70, 6,701-yard, University of Florida Golf Course.

Senior Scott Anderson (Great Falls, Mont./Great Falls) was the top OSU golfer as he tied for 17th. Anderson concluded the tournament with a final round score of one-under-par 69 to finish the event with a total of 218.

The University of Florida won the event with a tally of 858. Florida State’s Jonas Blixt captured medalist honors in the event with a three-round mark of 209.

Ohio State returns to action Feb. 19-20 in Phoenix, Ariz. as it competes in the 2005 Arizona State Invitational.
