COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State junior golfer Kristen White (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) was named Big Ten Player of the Week after her performance at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge last week.

White tied for fourth individually with a mark of 221, including a round of even-par 71 to open the event. She helped the Buckeyes to a third-place finish, their highest in the nine-year history of the event.

The honor was the first of the season for White and the third of her career.

The 10th-ranked Buckeyes return to action Feb. 23-25 when the squad travels to Tucson, Ariz., to compete in the Wildcat Invitational.
