We are once again switching gears and turning our focus on Facebook as the Ohio State fencing team hosts the 2012 NCAA Fencing Championships at French Field House this weekend:

The Buckeyes look to win their fourth team championship this weekend as the squad is one of five teams to qualify the maximum 12 fencers. Ohio State has finished in the Top 5 at the event each year of the past decade, including championships in 2004 and 2008 and a runner-up finish in 2005.

The tournament opened Thursday with the women’s competition and Ohio State finished the day tied for first with Notre Dame and Penn State. The women conclude their portion of the championships tonight and the men’s bouts begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and run through Sunday evening.
