COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team finishes the fall season at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate, Oct. 28-29. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be played on the par 71, 7,068-yard Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas.

THE BUCKEYE LINEUP
Ohio State will be represented once again by a youthful group of Buckeyes in two sophomores and three freshmen. Sophomores Boo Timko and Grant Weaver are joined by freshmen Michael Bernard, Tee-K Kelly and Max Rosenthal.
THE ROYAL OAKS INTERCOLLEGIATE
This year marks the fifth-annual Royal Oaks Intercollegiate with Texas A&M entering as the reigning champion. The team captured the crown last year with a score of 830, marking the third team title in four years. Lamar’s MJ Daffue won the individual title with a 202.
In its inaugural year, Texas A&M took the team title and SMU’s James Kwon won the individual crown after carding a 212.
RECAP: JACK NICKLAUS INVITATIONAL
The Ohio State men’s golf team finished 11th with a 36-hole score of 629 on the par 72, 7,353-yard Muirfield Village Golf Club at the shortened Jack Nicklaus Invitational in Dublin, Oct. 8-9. The tournament was cut to 36 holes instead of 54 due to frost both days.
The Buckeyes kick off the spring season at the Big Ten Match Play Championship in Sarasota, Fla., Feb. 8-9.
