COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Ohio State synchronized swimming team traveled north to Ann Arbor for their final meet of the regular season. With the 90 to 71 victory, the Bucks knocked off TTUN for the third time this season as they march into the postseason with an untarnished 6-0 record.

Breanna Malone was excellent in the solo routine. With a 77.3330, Malone claimed her third victory in the event, and her 5th top-2 finish in as many participations this season.

In the duet competition, Phoebe Coffin and Lizzie Walsh took first place with a 72.1660 as they just edged their teammates Shea Ramsey and Rachel Warren who finished second with a score of 71.8330. The finishes continue the trend of consistent top-4 placements for both duos all season long.

Ohio State kept their foot on the gas in the trio competition as the team of Quinn Connor, Jessica Giannuzzi, and Lizzie Welzien were only bested by their teammates Kaitlyn Carboun, Katie Farrell, and Sarah Walsh. Their scores of 70.1670 and 73.0000 respectively were well above the competition as they hit the homestretch of the season.

In the team showdown, Ohio State’s Coffin, Giannuzzi, Starrett, Stehlik, Torba, Walsh, Warren, Welzien scored an amazing 78.8330 to take 1st place. The Bucks haven’t lost in a team event this season, and the two teams have a lot of momentum rolling into the postseason.
