No. 10 Football (2-1) | Army Recap

  • Ohio State senior quarterback J.T. Barrett broke Drew Brees’ Big Ten record for touchdown responsible (107) for as he and the Buckeyes ran past Army 38-7 Saturday afternoon at Ohio Stadium.
  • J.K Dobbins ran for 172 of the teams 270 yards on 13 carries and reached the end zone twice.
  • Austin Mack caught the first touchdown pass of his career.

Men’s Soccer (6-1-0) | Penn State Recap | Rutgers Recap

  • The Buckeyes defeated Penn State 3-0 in their fourth straight shutout of the season on Tuesday evening with goals credited to Niall Logue, Nate Kohl (first of the year), and Mitch Bergman (first of career.)
  • The Buckeye defense limited the Nittany Lions to nine shots, only one on goal to continue the 2017 campaign, going 6-0-1 in the last seven meetings at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
  • Sunday afternoon the Buckeyes tied the program record by beating Rutgers 1-0 for their fifth straight shutout.
  • Parker Siegfried leads the nation with six shutouts and now has nine in his career.
  • This was the Buckeyes first win in school history against the Scarlet Knights in Piscataway, N.J.

Women’s Soccer (6-1-1) | Illinois Recap

  • Buckeyes opened Big Ten play Thursday night, picking up a 7-0 victory over Illinois.
  • The seven goals scored marked the most in a Big Ten game in program history as well as tied for the fourth-most in any contest in program history.
  • Riley Bowers and Marike Mousset each scored the first goals of their careers.

Women’s Volleyball (7-4) | Northern Illinois Recap | Dayton Recap

  • The Buckeyes ended Friday night with a 3-1 win over the Huskies.
  • Ayanna Swan established a career-high 19 kills while senior Luisa Schirmer finished with a double-double (14 kills, 10 digs) Friday night.
  • Ohio State took down Dayton on Saturday in straight sets finishing the Buckeye Invitational with a 2-1 mark and improved 7-4 on the season.
  • Ayanna Swan and Luisa Schirmer earned spots on the All-Tournament team.

Women’s Cross Country | Commodore Classic Recap

  • Buckeyes claimed a victory at the Commodore Classic placing first with 60 points.
  • All five Buckeye women scorers finished in the top 20’s
  • Lainey Studebaker was the top finisher for the team with a personal best 5k time of 17:34.8
