COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 27 Ohio State women’s golf team will journey to Jacksonville, Fla., April 7-8, for the 2014 Web.com Intercollegiate. The two-day tournament is co-hosted by Jacksonville University and North Florida and will be played on par 72, 5,967-yard Marsh Landing Country Club.
Nineteen teams are scheduled to be in attendance and five are ranked in the Top 50 according to Golfweek. Representing the Big Ten will be Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio State (27).

THE BUCKEYE LINEUP
Two juniors and three freshmen will be competing for the Buckeyes.
Freshman Jessica Porvasnik leads the Buckeye lineup with a 73.5 average with two rounds in the 60s and two top five wins this season. Rounding out the top scorers are classmates Zoe-Beth Brake and Katja Pogacar with 73.58 and 74.67 stroke averages, respectfully.
LAST TIME ON THE LINKS
The Buckeyes concluded the 2014 Bryan National Collegiate in eighth with a three-day total of 914 on par 72, 6,386-yard Bryan Park Champions Course in Greensboro, N.C., March 28-30.
The invitational included a field of 19 teams and third-ranked Duke captured the team title, finishing with an 18-over 882. Freshman Katja Pogacar and Jessica Porvasnik earned finishes in the Top 20 to lead the Buckeyes. Pogacar tied for 12th with a three-day score of 224 (76-71-77) and Porvasnik tied for 16th with a 225 (75-70-80)
The 2014 Web.com Intercollegiate is in its third installment. The Purdue Boilermakers came away with the 2013 title with total of 857.
This will be the first time the Buckeyes will compete in the collegiate.
The forecast for Monday will be a high of 83 degrees with a 70 percent chance of rain and the potential for severe T-Storms. Tuesday’s high will be 73 degrees and a 40 percent chance of rain.
The Buckeyes will host the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational in Columbus on the Scarlet Course, March 19-20.
