%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio– The No. 22 Ohio State women’s tennis team won again and is now a perfect 3-0 on the spring season. On Saturday, OSU blanked the Colorado Buffaloes by a score of 7-0, in Milwaukee, Wis. The match was the first of the season for CU.%^$

%^$ In singles, the Buckeyes won every match in straight sets. Leading the way, 19th ranked, Kristy Dascoli (Sr., Bradenton, Fla.) defeated Dominique Lemperle 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1. Sadhaf Pervez (So., Warren, N.J.) and Erica Fisk (Fr., Indianapolis, Ind.) posted impressive victories at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively. They both won 6-2, 6-1.%^$

%^$ The Buckeyes also swept the doubles matches. At No. 1, Dascoli and Monica Rincon (Jr., Lapeer, Mich.) cruised to an 8-1 victory over Lemperle and Lia Dimingo. Pervez and Laura Maloney (Sr., Barrington, Ill.) posted an impressive 8-2 win over Morgan Sall and Karoline Graeubig.%^$

%^$ The Buckeyes do not compete again as a team until Feb. 9 when the squad travels to College Park, Md., to battle No. 4 Duke. Two Buckeyes, Dascoli and Rincon, will participate in the ITA National Indoors, Feb. 1-4, in Dallas, Texas. Dascoli qualified for the National Indoors by advancing to the final at the ITA Midwest Regional. She and partner Rincon received an at-large berth to the tournament to participate in doubles play.%^$
