COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 19th-ranked Ohio State women’s swimming and diving team (7-1) returned to The Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on Saturday afternoon in a meet against in-state foe Ohio, defeating the Bobcats 193-106.

“Our girls have done a really nice job this season reaching out to the freshman, as well as encouraging and challenging them. It has been a seamless transition,” said head coach Bill Dorenkott. “Coming off of a great fall training, we’re now looking forward to our invitational here in two weeks.”

Ohio State set the tone of the meet with a solid first-place finish in the 400 medley relay from the team of Lauren Davis, Taylor Vargo, Aliena Schmidtke, and Alex Norris with a time of 3:50.73.
