COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 15 Ohio State women’s golf team completed the fall season tied for 11th at the Mercedes-Benz Women’s Championship Sunday in Knoxville, Tenn.

The Buckeyes shot 920 (313-302-305) at the Cherokee Country Club (par 71, 5,932) at the 54-hole tournament. Ohio State tied North Carolina. Georgia won the event with a score of 882 (297-293-292).

Stephanie Connelly (Fr., Pasadena, Md./The Pendleton School) led the Buckeyes individually. She finished tied for 18th with a score of 226 (77-74-75). Amanda McCurdy of Arkansas topped the individual leaderboard at even par 213 (70-74-69) for the tournament.

Ohio State will next play at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif., an event in which Ohio State will serve as the host school.
