COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 14 Ohio State women’s golf team moved to seventh-place after the second round of the Lady Tar Heel Invitational Saturday in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Buckeyes shot 296 on the par 72 University of North Carolina Finley Course. Top-ranked Duke leads the field (294-288=582).

Carling Coffing (So., Middletown, Ohio/Middletown) birdied four holes for a 1-under par 71 to finish the day tied for ninth (77-71=148) individually. Jennifer Selfinger (Sr., Columbus, Ohio/Groveport Madison) shot 74 (+2) to finish the day tied for 24th with teammate Dana Je (Jr., Orlando, Fla./Montverde Academy). Ashley Knoll of Texas A&M tops the leaderboard at 136 (-8).

The 54-hole tournament concludes with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Sunday.
